This is an amazing place for breakfast! The avocado toast is the BEST I have EVER had! The bacon and eggs with toast is incredible and the waffles are light and fluffy. The staff go above and beyond, they are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Poppies!!!

Recommended 100%, with the guarantee that you will have a tasty breakfast that will bring home cooked flavours. We were 2 and we had omelette with cheese, jam, tomatoes and mushrooms, scrambled eggs on cream cheese avocado toast and then pancakes with pistachios and fresh fruits for sharing It was all just enough to start the day in a very good mood! Nevertheless, the staff is super friendly and it’s all worth the wait (maybe you have to wait outside for a table make sure you stay)

Our first morning in Rome led us to this fantastic coffee shop, just a 10-minute walk from our accommodation. It was so good, we ended up returning every single morning of our trip! The food and coffee were absolutely incredible. I can't recommend the pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit enough – they were, without a doubt, the absolute best. Another standout favorite was their Belgium waffle. Both are by far the best I've had anywhere. And the coffee? Always perfect to start our day. What truly made each visit special was Valerie. She greeted us so warmly every day and provided service that was beyond anyone's expectations. We were even more impressed when we found out on our last morning that she's also the talented chef behind those amazing dishes! If you're ever in Rome, you must stop by this little coffee shop for breakfast and coffee. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! Thank you for such a great experience!

Adorable coffee bar! Beautiful breakfast and the freshness of ingredients, creativity and care put into each plate was phenomenal! The staff were so sweet, friendly and helpful! Wish I could come back again and again (but I don’t live in Italy).

The vegan toast was beyond delicious, so many flavours combined. My mom got the pancakes with Nutella and hazelnut cream and they looked so puffy and soft. The cappuccino with oat milk was really good and they offer you cocoa or cinnamon on top. I highly recommend

A true gem that is on a side street but inside lays a true family rooted in an amazing breakfast, the most friendly staff and a truly satisfying breakfast. The omelette are amazing and you can have breakfast here everyday and not break the bank. Fresh OJ, great tea selections and a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We visited this place for breakfast on two consecutive days as it was just right next to our Airbnb. It is quite far from all the touristy places and full of locals, which was very nice. The food was good and was well priced. Unfortunately, some menu items were missing. The owner was really nice and friendly. Just give it a shot if you are staying nearby.
